Meet Lainey!
Lainey is from San Clemente California and has been performing since she was seven years old in musical theatre camps with her sisters. Her first inspiration for theatre was the musical Mamma Mia, which inspired her to be confident and courageous in her path. She graduated from San Clemente High School in 2019 having been involved in musicals, choirs, and drama clubs. She packed up and moved to Greeley, Colorado to further pursue her training in Musical Theatre. She is set to graduate from the University of Northern Colorado with a BA in Musical Theatre with a Minor in Dance. (Class of 2023)
Ever since she was a little she wanted to make people smile and feel seen and accepted. Lainey has fallen in love with the escapism of theatre and how you can completely dive into different characters to create a story. You learn to accept and love yourself and bring a little piece of light in yourself in every character. She hopes to continue to keep that light throughout her life. Lainey hopes to get her MFA in the future and live in Los Angeles or San Diego to keep pursuing musical theatre after her college graduation in May.
Lainey enjoys adventuring with her friends, going to the beach, watching New Girl, and listening to Carole King while drinking iced coffees in her free time. Thank you for visiting her page!
